Luoyang Polytechnic is located in the millennium old capital, Peony Flower City, and the starting point of the Silk Road in Luoyang. It is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college organized and managed by the Luoyang Municipal Government. The school faces the Summer Capital Site to the east, the Longmen Grottoes to the west, the foothills of Wan'an Mountain to the south, and the banks of the Yiluo River to the north. The main campus is located at No. 6 Science and Technology Avenue in Yibin District, Luoyang City. There are also campuses such as Gaoxin, Xigong, and Chanhe, covering a total area of nearly 2800 acres. The teaching instruments and equipment are worth 180 million yuan, with a collection of 1.0897 million books and 153 off campus internship and training bases. We have 1 directly affiliated hospital and 2 teaching affiliated hospitals. Currently, there are over 24000 students on campus.

The school was established in 2011 by the merger of the former Luoyang Workers' Science and Technology College, Luoyang Health School, and Luoyang Senior Technical School. In 2018, it merged with Luoyang Finance and Economics School, Luoyang Finance and Accounting School, Luoyang Culture and Art School, and Luoyang Second Health Secondary School. In recent years, we have established cooperative relationships with more than 20 foreign universities and educational institutions, including the United Kingdom, France, Italy, New Zealand, Belarus, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, and Japan, to carry out exchanges and cooperation in various forms and in all aspects. Collaborate with foreign universities such as Belarus to organize Sino foreign cooperative education projects, introducing advanced concepts and high-quality educational resources from foreign vocational education into schools.
